Windows 95 Printer Setup

Imagers Film Recorder must be chosen as your output device. With the film recorder installed, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings and Printers from the Start menu. Select Imagers Film Recorder and get properties.

2. Select the Paper tab. Set paper size to Letter and choose proper orientation. (Fig 1)

3. Click Unprintable Area and set Top 0.00, Bottom 0.00, Left 0.00, Right 0.00 as shown in Fig 2. Click OK.

4. Select the PostScript tab and make sure Print PostScript error information is not checked. (Fig 3)

5. Click Advanced and set for PostScript Level 2, Compress bitmaps, and Pure binary data as shown in Fig 4. Click OK.

6. The driver is now set with the proper defaults and is ready for use. Note: Settings are different for Freelance96. Freelance users should select settings as stated in the Freelance Printer Setup instead of setting defaults as shown on this page.
